Pastor Ron Rogers

Pastor Ron is a native Texan, born in a small town between Fort Worth and Abilene. His family moved to Southern California at the age of ten where he accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior. During those early years, God began to speak to his heart about preaching the Gospel. It was not until the age of twenty-seven that he surrendered his life to full time service.

Pastor Ron married his high school sweetheart, Patsy Boggus, in 1967. They have three children: Rhonda, married to Michael Garner, the Minister of Students in Saginaw, Michigan, Cynthia, married to Kevin Ensley, a para-legal in Plano, Texas, and Russ, married to Carolyn Keener, who is in sales in Abilene, Texas.

Pastor Ron has served the Lord for most of his ministry in the Pioneer areas of our country: Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. He has served in every area of service in the Southern Baptist Convention. But, most of all, he is known for his Biblical teaching and preaching. Spiritual Growth and Evangelism are his passions. Although he loves many things, his favorite love is to spend time with his wife, family, and his church.
